Dough Knead It is a home-kitchen microbakery based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You can place orders with us through our Facebook Messenger chatbot. This policy explains what data we collect when you interact with us, and how we use it.
What We Collect
When you message us on Facebook Messenger, we collect:
- Your name — from your Facebook profile, so we know who the order belongs to
- Messenger PSID — a unique ID Facebook assigns to your conversation with us, so our chatbot can send you messages and order updates
- Delivery address — only if you choose delivery, so we know where to send your order
- Order history — what you've ordered and when, so we can track and fulfill your orders
- Payment proof screenshots — images you send to confirm payment
We do not collect passwords, payment card details, or any financial account information. We do not intentionally collect data from anyone under 13 years old.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information above to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Send you order confirmations, updates, and delivery notifications via Messenger
- Improve our chatbot and ordering experience
- Respond to your questions or requests
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted services to run our bakery. Your data may be processed by:
- Facebook Messenger Platform — handles the chat interface and message delivery (Meta Privacy Policy)
- Supabase — our database where we store orders, customer info, and order history (Supabase Privacy Policy)
- Google Gemini AI — powers our chatbot's conversation intelligence; your messages are processed to generate responses (Google Privacy Policy)
- Vercel — hosts our website and application (Vercel Privacy Policy)
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share your information with third parties beyond the services listed above.
Data Retention
We keep your order history and contact information for as long as your account is active with us, so we can serve you on future orders. If you'd like us to delete your data, just send us a message and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what data we have about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your data entirely
